My name is Adrian and I run Let’s Go Fido. I’ve always loved dogs and together with my wife, we’re currently owned by two Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Sassy and Jake. 

It’s fair to say I’ve had a varied career - Computer programmer for 15 years, Contracts Manager for a landscaping business, self employed gardener, electric gates installer (I’m not sure how that one happened). It was about 10 years ago that I fancied a change and thought about what would combine 2 things I love - dogs and being outdoors. So I became a professional dog walker and haven’t looked back.

I’ve always thought that walking other people's dogs should be more than just sticking a lead on then letting Fido fly about around a field. I believe that in order to do a good job, you need to understand your subject, so I’ve taken the following dog behaviour courses.

Think Dog! Intermediate (in progress) 

Through a mixture of further education, being a part-time instructor at On The Scent dog training school, and just spending time with many different dogs, you get to realise there’s actually no such thing as bad dogs - most of the time they’re simply just being dogs. I feel it’s our responsibility to try to understand, protect and guide them. That way we end up with happy owners and happy dogs (albeit with the occasional bump in the road).
